I've taken two different schools. Reg Pridmore's CLASS and Todd Stanley's FASTTRAX. Both are good. The good thing about FASTRAXX is the relative ease of getting out to Nelson Ledge's track. In the summer time, the Speed Certified Open Sessions can't be beat for cost effective track time.
If you're thinking about racing, get yourself out to some advanced street riding schools or open practice sessions. Figure out if you really like running at a fast pace on the track with people passing you with inches to spare (trick question!). Nothing builds riding skills like time in the saddle at speed. Time in the saddle and thinking about what you're doing lead to smoothness. Smoothness leads to speed. Then you start the cycle all over again.
